After receiving a comprehensive substance abuse assessment and deemed appropriate for services, clients’ receives individual and group treatment sessions focusing on the triggers that causes substance abuse which can include; employment, stress management, mental and health issues including HIV/AIDS and other STDs, criminal justice involvement, domestic violence, parenting skills, grief e.g. loss of a loved one, other topics and services are received including but; not limited to, case management and random toxicology screening.
Offering free HIV pre and post-test counseling and referrals, as needed. FCAS HIV Program focuses on reducing the risk of HIV transmission and infection through educational workshops, individual sessions, group counseling as well as other sexually transmitted diseases. Services also include testing for the Hepatitis C Virus.
